ROUGH STOCK SCHOOL

Our Columbia River Circuit hosts a Bareback and Saddle Bronc School to promote rodeo, provide athletic training tips, educate participants and grow the number of contestants competing in our rodeos. For the past nine years, this has been one of the most successful rough stock schools in the Northwest. In 2025, the school had 35 contestants age 12 to 34, many who are currently competing and others who dream of competing in our circuit one day. The 2025 event was held at the new J Spear indoor arena in Cheney, Washington with stock from Aces Wild Pro Rodeo and Kelley Bowcutt.  The school is an excellent opportunity for these kids to learn from the best and continue to build the sport of rodeo. It was an honor to give out all kinds of awards including PRCA contestant permits, and rodeo pay scholarships from the PRCA.  Champion’s Living Fitness also awarded a scholarship to their rodeo academy in Texas.  Special thanks to all the rodeo committees and the PRCA for their support of this school.
